Fire Archaeology Training Course
April 13, 2020 - April 17, 2020
DESCRIPTION: This course is intended to provide participants with the foundation to serve as Archaeologist(ARCH) during wildland fire incidents. Archaeologists work with Incident Management Teams, Resource Advisers, and fireline personnel to address concerns about the impacts of wildland fire, fire operations, and post-fire conditions on cultural resources.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Archaeologists, cultural resource managers, and heritage Program Managers who frequently serve as Archaeologist or Resource Advisers.
QUALIFICATION NOTE: Applicants do not need to possess a Red Card in order to attend the course.
